MINI HAUL: ULTA

Hey! So I recently went to Ulta and got a few things that I've been wanting to try and other things that I found just looking around.
Here's a picture of what I got:

The first items I got were the NYX soft matte lip cream, in the colors Abu Dhabi and Stockholm. I wasn't quite ready to stray away from nude colors because I'm a little skeptical on wearing bright pinks and reds. Anyways the lip creams are very moisturizing and they don't feel dry on my lips whatsoever, and the colors are very nice. Later on I will do a full on review of these creams with swatches and everything.

The next item I got was the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. I've been looking for a new translucent powder because I've wanted to try something different rather than the Revlon PhotoReady Powder, and this was rather cheap so I bought this one. This product does keep you very matte, but since I have a darker skin tone, it does leave a little bit of a lighter color on your skin.

Next, I got the Revlon No Pinch Mini Curler for my eyelashes, and I can't say that this is my favorite eyelash curler, but I needed something because my Sally Hansen Eyelash Curler broke and I cannot go a day without curling my lashes (with or without make up(: ). This product was cheap and it's okay. I don't think I will go out and buy this curler again but for right now it will do.

Next I got the Essence Long Lasting Eyeliner in black, and this is a repurchase because I absolutely love this eyeliner. It's cheap and it lasts long. It's very similar to Maybelline's Eye Studio Master Drama Cream Pencil.

The last thing I purchased was the Ulta Brand Lash Blow Out Mascara. They have pictures of what the brush looks like and it definitely looked interesting but I won't say much about this product because I will do a full on review on this mascara.

KEEPING MY EYE ON: Open Shoulder Tops

So this past weekend I went to the wonderful city of Chicago and stayed up there with my cousin and her friends. Whenever I go somewhere I always take notes on what I see and like when traveling places on buses or when I'm walking. Recently I've seen some things that I would love to have.

The first thing I have been looking for is an Open Shoulder Denim top. And while looking some up I have found the one I've been looking for on an online store called Luna Vintage. The store is very vintage-esque and it has definitely intrigued me. The top that I have found is under Denim Open Shoulder Blouse.

Here is what it looks like:

The top is something very different and I like it a lot. But since summer has been 90< I haven't committed to buying this top and now it's only size is a large, so if i can find something similar when the weather cools down, it will be a definite purchase.

REVIEW: Maybelline Volum Express Mega Plush Mascara.

Hey There!
I decided for my first post I would do a review. The first thing I'm reviewing is the Maybelline Volum Express Mega Plush Mascara. (Just a quick note, I'm loco for mascaras, you will definitely find that out as I post more and more). So the packaging is really nice. Maybelline uses the cutest and coolest colors for the packaging and the bottle.

As I started my mascara process I realized that the brush is flimsy but it's manageable. This mascara doesn't clump much which is obviously a plus. I got the color blackest black in the non-waterproof. I really ended up liking this mascara and with only two coats there was noticeable difference.


Now the question is, Would I Buy This Mascara Again? 
-Yes, I would.
